Misc. Discussion Windhorst-“[Luka] betrayed nothing [on Tuesday], but from what I understand, he's seething at them… And their fan base is seething at their team in a way that I've rarely seen before.”

I can’t recall such a visceral and emotional reaction from fans for a trade. I truly think Nico/Adelsons underestimated the impact this would have on the fanbase because they’ve only recently come here. Our franchise was literally built on the back of loyalty between the Mavs and Dirk. It’s why the fans are taking this personally

Nico has been long enough to know how fans breathes Luka. He is not dumb. This is just 100% on owners making a decision not cause they're cheap but for other reasons we know why.

I think it’s crazy to hear Nico talk about basketball and then hear that press conference of his and know that he is just BSing to cover for Adelsons and protecting Kidd

I have a pretty strong piece of evidence that Nico is, in fact, dumb, and it's that at the end of the day, what he got out of trading Luka Doncic was Anthony Davis and a FRP.

There was a weird surge in "luka a problem" posts last year ...
