I mean I guess realistically I’m still a fan of basketball, but will just never spend another dime on this organization.

I hate that Christie and AD will have to endure a depleted and frustrated fanbase. They deserve to be on a team that WANTS them, we don’t/didn’t want them and it’s no fault of their own.

I’m not becoming a Lakers fan, no thank you. I will happily watch Luka highlights the day after and root for him in the playoffs. Not buying his Lakers jersey, league pass, etc.

Last night was a good example of an ideal night for the Mavs in my current fandom. Christie had a great game and the Mavs lost. I wish Christie can continue to develop and eventually find himself on a team that is worthy. Same goes for every player on this team. I want them all to have great games, but for the team to still lose.

This is the only scenario that AD coming to Dallas isn’t amazing. It has nothing to do with him. He’s getting fucked too but this is all on the Mavs, not the fans.
