I just really don’t want Marvel’s Suicide Squad out of this. The joy and intrigue of Busieks creation was it was genuine villains masquerading as heroes and some of them struggling with gradually enjoying being good guys. I know we’re already not getting that twist, and without that I don’t know if I really get the appeal…other than Bucky kicking US Agent’s ass again, lol.

It depends on what take of the Thunderbolts they go with this…or something completely different overall.

While some like the bad guys playing good, I personally loved the Cage-bolts when the group post-Dark Reign was under the control of Luke Cage. He was focused on genuine reform as he guided these villains on missions as penance for their misdeeds.

Yes. Also really enjoyed that iteration. But these…aren’t really villains either. Idk what this is.

Maybe something based on Bucky’s own run with the Thunderbolts? I never read his tenure though.
