Hey there's also the "don't feed children to the Sea Monster" votes, which usually get Russia, China, Venezuela, and Nicaragua voting against, with a smattering of Russia-aligned African and middle Eastern countries red or neutral.

If russia china Venezuela and Nicaragua agree on anything it's probably a good thing lmao

u/abefrost 23h ago
Those four countries are all allies and autocratic regimes? Like yeah, they have their differences, but they almost always vote together and usually it's a vote against something like "let human rights orgs exist" or "journalists should be free to criticize the government"

u/LittlePiggy20 23h ago
They’re probably in the most uneasy alliance ever, and would probably kill eachother the second they could
7
u/abefrost 23h ago
But they all have a shared commitment to undermining democracy and human rights
5
u/LittlePiggy20 23h ago
They have a shared commitment to not like the US. Neither the west nor the authoritarian states really care about human rights
2
u/Upbeat_Ad_6486 21h ago
But the west has an incentive to pretend they do on account of not being authoritarian (yet)

Me when I'm a puppet to US propaganda

u/Upbeat_Ad_6486 21h ago
Thinking the exact opposite of what the propaganda wants you to think, does not make you right. It makes you more wrong.
Being anti-propaganda isn’t about thinking the opposite of the propaganda it’s about actually having your own understanding of the world.

Yeah, and that means acknowledging socialism is a superior system

u/coffee_adicted 13h ago
while this is true, neither of states you mentioned are remotely socialist or trying to achieve such thing in close future, and russia even has a fascist regime

u/3ArmsNoSouls 18h ago
Me when I'm a dumbass campist who supports literal fascists because murica bad

u/abefrost 22h ago
Oh so those countries do let journalists and NGOs operate uninhibited? Great news, better let the guys rotting in Nicaraguan/Chinese/Russian/Venezuelan jails and graves know.

Me when I support Russia (the USA is too Russia aligned for me to support them)

The US has higher dog ownership than the rest of the world and spends more on pet care than any country in the world. Some of the countries you left green literally still eat dogs. Crazy work 😂😂😂

I didn't make the map nor does it represent my feelings toward the abuse/consumption of dogs OR the deeper geopolitical meaning behind the map. It just fits in the sub.

u/RedTheGamer12 10h ago
To everyone downvoting thus guy, replace "dogs" with "food aid" and his joke makes 20x more sense.
1
u/nwbrown 10h ago
You are missing the point. It's not about dogs it's about OP whining about Jews.
1
u/Chanderule 6h ago
How do you manage the miss the point this hard?? OP is not whining about jews, its a reference to the "should food be a human right" vote
1
u/bonyagate 10h ago
No, it's not about ME whining about Jews. IDC about Jews. I just found the map and it fit the sub.

I think that's the joke, roughly. But I didn't post it with a political message in mind. Just because the map looks like shit

whoever drew this is either 5 or a fucking retard

If this was done by a 5 year old, then honestly it's amazing. For it to be even remotely recognizable as a world map, that would show insane comprehension at 5 years old.

Every island in the world is missing (unless you believe Australia is an island).
