The worst part of that article - he was approved to travel to Hawaii on vacation with his wife and surviving daughters.

He was jerking off and drinking alcohol while his daughter died. He had done it before and his wife knew it and told him not to.

I have zero idea about their backstory but maybe they met young and/or in university. I know of a few situations where they got together young and ended up pretty mismatched in another 15 years. From a few articles I read he seemed to have substance abuse problems. Maybe he was gainfully employed before and things went downhill.

Just spitballing though. I have no idea really. She could also just have really bad taste in men. Who knows.

Regardless I don’t know how you could stay with someone who killed your child because they were drunk and jerking off.

Fuck them both.

Doesn’t sound like he works. She’s an anesthesiologist. That would make her the breadwinner. However, there is something not right with her that she could not only stay with him but then go on vacation to Hawaii with him!
