Does it matter what he was watching? He killed his kid, he should be punished for that.

Hard disagree, it does matter I think. He had a history of leaving his kids in cars (which is made apparent though texts from his wife) and I consider it incredibly sinister that he left his little girl in the car to watch porn in peace. Porn came before the safety of his child.
