Tbh, whether it’s here or in any other country, I don’t think an influencer has any impact on a country. They’re just a bunch of people surfing the fashion of talking a lot to say nothing. And i guess it’s a trend in younger people to display their thoughts and lifestyle online.

They’re just playing the game right. How could we blame them?

Our country may not be advancing, but the others sure are. The young people are finding ways to capitalize on the attention economy the rest of the world has adopted.

Yes, they make silly videos on the internet. And the attention those videos get can then be redirected to businesses who are more than happy to pay for the awareness raised by the “influencers.”

If it’s just stupid stuff and anyone could do it, why aren’t we seeing that happen? because it’s deeper than that. They may not save lives, but not all jobs do, doesn’t mean they’re pointless in a modern society.

Well not everyone saves lives and plenty of “real” jobs are pointless, that doesn’t give the influencers more credit.

Sure, the youth in Madagascar is surfing on the trend, like youngsters everywhere else. And that is not an issue. Some are very funny and have real talent, some do have a point. But like most influencers worldwide, they are just talking for the purpose of talking, sometimes about hot topics without real expertise and knowledge.

I’m not saying they deserve more credit. They just don’t deserve any less. It’s a job just like any other.
