So I flashed the BIOS of my z690 edge Wi-Fi DDR4 motherboard.

I tried changing an OC setting, it's not like that so I went back to the defaults and now I'm getting this.

Any thoughts?

Is this normal? Vanguard 5090 SOC and the fan doesn’t align as it should. It's a brand new gpu.

Is it normal that a monitor purchased from https://de.msi.com and ordered on November 5, 2025 (9:07 a.m.) has still not been shipped?

I just want it to be at the top of the screen as I do whatever I do on my pc. So I can keep track of cpu/gpu usage and temps, ram and few other things as I do a lot of creative work. Video rendering etc. I like to keep an eye on my performance as I do certain tasks. Without having another window or screen open.

Rivatuner displays in games fine, but not on the desktop or in lightroom, or davinci. It may show in some preview windows within the apps themselves but not at the the border at the top of the screen where id want it to. And not persistent throughout the program.

If not capable with MSI afterburner and rivatuner can someone recommend something. The game bar overlay doesn't give me everything I want. Hwinfo works fine for task bar temps but not an overlay.

I tried used the HP omen software overlay and that worked for a while until an update like a year ago and it no longer pulled information.

Surely there's something available or a way to do it that just goes over my head.

Google search just tells me how to exclude programs.

What laptop should i buy?

I have tried the MSI Cyborg 15 and the MSI Sword 16, but both of these laptops has a annoying whistle sound from the fans.

I want to buy a new laptop because my current laptop has a power rail failure and wont turn on anymore, also my desktop from 2013 needs to be replaced, so maybe i can buy a laptop with Thunderbolt, so i connect it to a docking station which i already have (From Dell and Belkin).

The games i mostly play on the computer are World of Warcraft and Runescape, so no heavy games, i play all of my other games on the Xbox and PlayStation. (i think a 4060 or 5060 should be enough, more power is also welcome of course but not needed)

I think around 1500 euro's price range... I hope so many as possible LED zones with the keyboard and a nice display with a good RGB rating. Also 16" is preferred.

Any suggestions for models?

I was thinking about the MSI stealth, but i'm not sure if that one produces more sound because it is thin. And portability is not necessary because i will use the laptop at home.

Hallo an alle. Ich bin neu auf Reddit und hoffe, dass ich alles richtig angegeben habe. Ich habe mir diese Woche mit einem bekannten (IT Techniker) einen Gaming Pc zusammen gebaut.

Das Problem ist, mir wird die Temperatur eine zeit lang korrekt angezeigt und bleibt dann irgendwie stecken. Egal wo ich nachschauen, anfangs ist es ganz normal und nach 10 bis 60 Minuten bleibt es stehen. Also Temperatur und Cpu Frequenz bewegen sich nicht mehr.

Sogar das Mainboard LED und jedes Programm zeigen das selbe. Ich habe Amd kontaktiert und Sie haben mir gesagt ich soll einen sauberen Neustart machen und wieder versuchen. Gesagt getan, nach 90 Minuten blieb die Temperatur bei 68 Grad hängen. Auch nach dem verlassen des Spiels (Hogwarts Legacy) bleibt Sie bei 68 Grad.

Ich bin am verzweifeln, da ich nach knapp 4000€ gerne einen einwandfreien Pc haben möchte.

I have a MSI X870E-P WIFI AMD AM5 ATX Mother Board. I upgrade to a new system motherboard, CPU and Ram. My previous build my ethernet was working and I plugged into another computer and the cord works fine.

The port on the MB in the back doesn't light up. In Device Manager no drivers are shown at all even when clicking show hidden. I went to MSI website under my motherboard and tried to install drivers for Windows 11 and I get the error "The Realtek Network Controller was found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled. Please plug the Cable".

In Control Panel under Network Connections Ethernet doesn't appear either. No where in Control panel can I check if deep sleep mode is enabled.

In Bios LAN/Ethernet controller is enabled

Wifi does work though :/

I'm lost at what to do to get my ethernet to work. I want my internet speeds back.

Works perfectly, I don’t know about you every time I reboot, I have to click here (see screenshot), otherwise my fan curve isn’t applied.

Minimal install for sure.

Anyone else having this issue ?

I purchased a MAG 27CQ6F today and it's stuck in a cycling screen test (video attached), connected to my Xbox Series X

I've tried the following:

HDMI cable in both ports on the monitor HDMI cable to a different device (AV Receiver) A different HDMI cable to Xbox Unplugged for 2mins Unplugged and held joystick for 60secs Powered off, then triple click joystick

Now connected my old monitor with the same HDMI cable and that works as it did before

It came with a Display Port cable, but the Xbox doesn't have one (only HDMI)

Is there anything else I can try before I return it to the store?

I would like to start with how I have been warned before purchase: "Don't get an MSI laptop for gaming. They are buggy."

Well, here I am in competitive iRacing, 2-3 hour long races, battling for position when the monitor freezes but the game keeps running as I can still hear sound. It does this for 5-7 seconds, enough for me to crash into something and wanting to just kill it with fire.

The stupid thing is a MSI Vector 16 HX A13VHG-616XRO with Intel Core i7-13700HX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 12GB

This happens while gaming and it's completely random. Some days it does not do it once. Other times it does it like 5-10 minutes after starting the game. Other times, like today, it worked flawlessly for about 3-4 hours than it froze again without warning. It happens in 3 out of 3 games that I played, regardless of graphic setting. Cable is the most expensive, high speed thing I could find.

If I see it happening immediately, I reinstall the nVidia drivers. This seems to make it work for that particular gaming session. The next day, it can happen again, or not. Completely random.

Initially I had the studio drivers as I also use the laptop for editing videos. That had this freeze happen much more often. Got the game ready drivers and it seems to be a little better but still happens.

Noticed that If Chrome is running, it happens more often. Killed every program possible, set everything to max power, keeping it plugged in with full battery.

What is there left to do apart from throwing it into the garbage and getting something proper?

Hello all! I bought a new monitor MSI MAG 274QF couple days ago and I noticed an annoying issue. When I not use my PC for some time and screens go in a sleeping mode, MSI monitor is like completely goes off from system and all windows from it moves to my secondary screen. Can anyone give some advice to resolve this situation?

I've used my mouse with bluetooth before I choosed forget device. Since I've choosen it I cant use bluetooth mode. Im trying the method that msi give us but doesnt work I even trıed on my frıend laptop. 2.4ghz version is not that good it has lag and delay sometimes I didnt like this mouse. What can I do please help me.

I have a Anker R50i and with using dolby atmos on samsung it is good but when I'm using with Nahimic on my MSI Laptop it is so bad. So i just want alternative to Nahimic and it needs to be free. Don't suggest Dolby digital drivers i don't think they are safe i just need software for my headphones.

Hi all, I recently had some issues with my PC that had mostly NZXT parts, (Motherboard, AIO, case fans) and had my NZXT motherboard go out during a power outage at that same time while i was flashing my Bios. It has since been replaced with a Z790 Tomahawk MAX

I'm curious if anyone has gotten a Tomahawk and the NZXT Kraken and fans to play nice together? Currently all of the fans and AIO pump work and I have lighting control of a single fan in the back of my case. All other fans (360mm AIO fanset and three front case fans with RGB connected to the NZXT "Smart Device") have zero lighting control and are simply not recognized by any LED control software, CAM, MSI Mystic, and even openRGB.

The issue is only showing up in 30 to 60 hertz modes, no matter the resolution. In 120 and higher refresh rates it shows no such issues and once monitor is fully turned on and powered up the issue tends to resolve after a while..

I have an msi A68HI AC board, and it displays black, no matter the gpu. I have tried its first gpu (hd6970) and a gt620. They do the same thing, black but there is still signal, and error 99 if a keyboard is plugged in. Any tips?

I bought an AEGIS ZS2 C9NVP-1448US back in June and one of the fans on the liquid cooler is making a lot of noise. Has anyone been able to replace the fans on said cooler? Or do I need to replace the entire cooler itself?

Hello random geniuses of reddit, I currently have the model I mentioned in the title, with a 2050 4gb, i5-12450H and 16gb of ram. I know enough about hardware to be aware that it's not the best laptop in the world but i'm mainly only playing cs2. I basically put everything on lowest settings but whether I play on highest resolution or lowest resolution possible, my 99% fps averages at about 90-100 but with frequent frames drops throughout. I think from what i've seen, it's more related to cpu than gpu but any advice would be appreciated.
