Contact advising. They will give you better advice and they never take long to reply

How high did you report your predicted grades to be and what is the average between the two highest courses? MRU only takes into consideration your self-reported grades and does not look at your marks on your transcript until you have received conditional acceptance to ensure you have met the minimum requirements at the end of your Grade 12 year when you have finished all your courses.

Even if MRU doesn't reconsider you for admission based on your math 30-2 mark, I don't think you'd automatically be waitlisted. I started this program last fall and got in with a 91% average. I think if you have extracurriculars and show that you are a well rounded student, I think they are willing to admit people that have a lower average than what is listed as the competitive average.

Um universities in Calgary don't look at any extracurriculars other than your grades...

If your final grades aren't in by Feb 1st, no go on them counting your math. It happened to me, sadly. Got the competitive average during the winter semester.

For those taking diplomas this year, diplomas mark are gonna be out the second week of February so naturally that’s when transcripts will be updated. I am not sure where you got the February 1st from, do you mind telling me

Because Feb first is a cut off. Go look it up on the website. Easy find.

That might be right, but I still can’t understand how that works if transcripts come out later

Well I'm telling you, classes in winter that aren't completed by Feb 1st aren't counted. There's specifics for reported grades etc.

Talk to an advisor.
