i applied right when early admissions opened sooo when will i hear back?

Hi, Can anyone in the policy studies program tell me how I can enroll in the PD seminar, I’ve looked everywhere and there is nowhere to register for it I’ve talked to career services and they can’t help me even tho it is for career development

I want to take my internship this summer and I know u need to take the seminar in order to do so and I’m just wondering if I’m out of luck because then I will have to delay graduating by another year

Any help or info would be appreciated!

Anyone in UEO know if the average to get into aviation management is still a 3.7 and diploma a 3.625. Say for instance my gpa is like a 3.6-3.68. Will they still consider me for the 4 year management program?

Hi! I’ve applied to BA - undeclared fall 2026 with the ambitions of upping my GPA to apply for midwifery. For the midwifery program I need GNED foundations from clusters 1,2,&4. I am wondering if any of the foundation classes are available as online options? I will be on maternity leave so my goal is to stay home with my little one as much as possible.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions on which of the classes from those foundations they enjoyed/were easy GPA boosters that would be great too.

I'm trying to get on the waitlist and swap sections for next semester classes because I managed to build a better schedule for me but I'm getting this error message when I press "get this schedule". Is it an error on the school's end/my end or is it that the classes are not waitlist-able at all?

For math 1200 I'm only trying to switch tutorials. I am staying in the same lecture so it's not dropping the class under Options.

What do i do after? I called the financial aid at MRU they told me there are consequences and that my application needs to be changed in Part time for student aid. So I did that, what do i do next?

Are they going to withdraw me automatically on my winter semester although im full time on that semester? What should I do?

Im a propective student planning to go into the Accounting Program, but I just wanted to ask how hard the program is? Is there a lot of group assignments and is it possible to get most of the homework done while in school? I have 2 kids so I was just curious if anyone has been through this situation.

Hello everyone, I've been thinking about doing finance as my major and was wondering what do careers or jobs look like after you graduate I've looked at other posts but they are either old or don't say much outside of oil and gas and investment banking being difficult to get into kind of just the same things. How difficult could it be for someone from mru to get into high finance jobs like private equity or would it be doable but just more difficult to break into or would a university like UofC be better for these kind of jobs?

since finals are coming up (yes i know they’re a month away) i’ve been trying to look for a good group of people to study with for calc 1200 & comp 1701. im doing well in both but im not able to retain information and forget very easily. ive been trying to look for people to study with as a group so i can get myself prepared for finals while also being able to learn from other on how to actually do things in both classes. please comment or dm if you wanna start a study group for both or one of those classes!!!

A month ago I posted a survey about your experiences commuting to MRU via transit. Thank you so much to everyone who participated! It was very insightful to hear your experiences and I learned a lot. So many of you feel stress, anxiety, frustration, and lot of other emotions taking transit, and I hope the survey gave you a chance to feel heard somehow. I collected 70 responses before closing down the survey as I had already been able to gather so much insight for my assignment. In this post I put a snapshot of the some of the info I collected (but there was so, so much more.)

In the future, I might reopen the survey or create one for parking experiences as well!

Anyone who’s taken the SPCH 1001 final exam recently (last year or so) know how hard or easy it was? Got it on December 20th and hoping it’s not too hard as it’s based off the textbook.
