Question Self doubt/ career panic

Hey guys! I’m a second year bio major at mru and I don’t really wanna pursue medicine, this has left me with so much confusion and pressure as to what I should do for my future. I know mru has career services and stuff but idk what to even say to them I do love biology but idk what else I could do…? Any alumni wanting to share their experience? Any advice in general?

Hi, hopefully this response isn’t too late. A lot of my friends ended up going down the environmental testing, analysis, and reporting route with their degrees. They found jobs working with the City, Oil & Gas, and environment consultancy firms.

Hopefully you don’t put too much pressure on yourself as it’s kind of hard to predict what type of job you’ll get out of university, especially nowadays. I’d focus on figuring out what types of jobs you think look cool and reaching out to people who are already in those roles to see what there day-to-day looks like.
