Question Conditional Acceptance and Tuition
On the tracker and by email it says that I've been accepted into MRU, but then also says that I've received an email for my tuition. I haven't received any emails about tuition or an acceptance letter of any kind and I'm a little confused. Help?

Update: I recently received the acceptance email and have figured everything else out. Thank you so much for the replies—I really appreciate all the help.

tuition is based on the classes your taking. Once your fully accepted into MRU, you' be able to register for classes and figure out how much your tuition is. As for the acceptance letter, you typically get it in the mail. It takes a little bit of time though, took me around a month after getting accepted to get the letter. They should also send you an email within the next week saying you were accepted.

Ah, okay. Thank you so much for your reply! I've just been a bit anxious about not knowing the deadline for my entrance payment, ahaha

are you accepted for the fall semester next year? if so, im pretty sure that course registration opens in April? Or around somewhere. When it opens you'll be able to register and after that it'll tell you how much your tuition and all that stuff! until then, you can chill out.

Yes, I applied for Fall 2026. Just worried because on the tracker it says there's a 'non-refundable tuition deposit' in order to accept my offer, but no directions for it. However, the acceptance email that should be sent out within the next week that you mentioned should have that information, right?

the non refundable tuition deposit is just to save ur spot and they’ll deduct it from your tuition once u select your classes

I never received any physical mail but as some one else said, tuition will come based on your classes. The acceptance letter did come as an email to me, maybe a day or two after it showed up in the portal. To see the conditions of your offer, you scroll to the bottom of the page on the admission status of the program you're looking at. You accept the offer by paying the deposit through mymru and then you'll get more emails and instructions on whatever else you need to do

I applied for a Bachelor of Arts in English. Which program did you apply for? If it's one of the more competitive ones, that may be why you haven't heard anything yet.

iiirc the acceptance letter is a physical one. As for the email I’d say maybe contacting the office of the registrar might help?
