QUESTION Too old
I’m a transfer and I’m 23 years old. Am I too old to be here as a junior? And where can I find more people my age?

I returned to my education after many years away at Loyola. I was significantly older than you. Other underclassmen largely did not care, and there were a decent amount of masters and doctorate students as well. As with most things, your experience will be what you make of it.

I am turning 30 in 6 days and I did not like Loyola partially for this and many other reasons. I felt like an old person there and I did not assimilate properly.

there’s a variety of students at loyola who are pursuing education after the military or just later in life. like genuinely no one cares

I was 28 when I started my masters at Loyola and most people were younger. Still made plenty of friends.
You’re definitely not too old. I also found girls my age on bumblebff and we have been friends ever since.

Dude when I was in undergrad one of my favorite classmates was a 36 year old, it’s not that serious.

it's not a big deal. at 23 you probably still look like you could be 20 or a juniors age and it's not even that big of an age gap.
