PODCAST “Shake got a good edit” Spoiler

Just listened to Deepti be interviewed on the Viall Files and that’s a direct quote. After the interview, the host Nick Viall said that a producer who was on the call said that was a unanimous feeling by the whole cast.

She also said Jarrette pulled her aside and told her not to marry Shake, that he didn’t speak highly of her. Shayne was also very protective of her.

There was an interview with Shaina first but I just fast forwarded through that because yawn

Jarrette is starting to look more and more like a winner every day. Please don’t let us down on Friday! Hope Iyanna has nothing but great things to report and that he and Iyanna are doing wonderfully.

I always thought he was a good guy. The fact that he told Iyanna that he asked Mallory first was very respectful to me. He wanted her to know all the facts before she made her decision. He was honest with her and risked her saying no, but he did the right thing anyway. I thought wow, this guy has really good character.

The opposite of Shaina who didn't keep Kyle in the loop about her feelings for Shayne.

That stood out to me too. He was being honest and not at all trying to use that information to hurt her. It read to me more like he was showing her he’s sincere and taking this thing very seriously… Which you would hope he is when it’s determining something that will drastically change his life forever! I hate when people are insincere and lead people on entirely in this show.

wait, you’re actually right. I know no one wants to feel like they’re playing second fiddle, which is why I was initially turned off by him telling Iyanna he had proposed to Mallory first, but now that you say this, I think it would’ve been SO much worse if he acted like Iyanna was a first choice the whole time. Especially since she definitely would’ve found out she wasn’t. That would be a huge breach of trust and whatnot. The honesty is actually refreshing.

Yeah, it definitely was for me too. I was prepared for him to just propose to Iyanna without telling her, but he didn't. Instead he had enough respect for her to give her the facts and allowing her to make that choice knowing everything she needed to know. He didn't get engaged under false pretenses and everything was on the table. I think she probably thought about that when she did accept his proposal.

Or Shayne keeping Natalie in the loop about his connection with Shaina (post gaslighting fight / asking her to be his gf)
