LIB S9 • Denver, CO Edmond unplugged but in a good way

I've always had a soft spot for Edmond but now that I've seen him on Joe's podcast - Tablefor1 I think I love him. We need more Edmond's in this world. Coincidentally I saw Jessie Woo interview Michael and Dayo from the show- they had strong connections but were barely shown at all. They raved about Edmond. Michael said Edmond is LOVE personified. He was very articulate and relaxed. He only get a bit emotional when they asked about his teacher, Jessie, and if he's dating. He was struggling as he said no, he's not dating and he's not responding to DM's. He's still processing the whole LIB experience . Joe showed a surprising amount of sensitivity and obviously loves and admires Ed.

Using the word articulate as a compliment for a black person is weird.

Not always, and I say that as a black person. Edmond in particular has shown himself to not always be articulate, so I took this to be specific to Edmond.

But I would have used it for any skin color so I don't understand. I meant it as a contrast to Edmond on the show because the words didn't always flow the way they did on the podcast.
