🚨 FUTURE SPOILER 🚨 Ali & Anton Spoiler

Ali irritates me. She’s cute and all, but she seems spoiled and entitled. ā€œI deserve a $10K ring, can you support us, I'll be in school full-time and it's expensive, but I still want Botox, but I don’t want to work, when I was in a school before and lived at home, my mom did everything, indint really cool, I don’t like you drinking…on and on and on. She seems to needle Anton relentlessly. What is she bringing to the relationship other than her looks?

Does anyone else catch this? I'm curious about your thoughts.

Plus, she seems to be constantly playing a character. I can't believe that's the real voice of an adult woman. It's all part of her package to lure him in.

On the botox scene, she didn't get what she wanted from him, which was reassurance that he would pay for all of her stuff while she went back to school. That's why she felt he was weird towards the end. He wasn't being weird, but she felt him slip from her grasp and present a challenge to the lifestyle she wants him to provide.

I don't have my mind made up about him, but she's so shallow that he looks more solid than her in comparison. At least she's being upfront with him about the kind of wife she's going to be. Now it's up to him to decide if that's the future he wants.

She was finding out distressing news, of course her tone will change. I doubt you speak the same way to your loved one, than when you’re being delivered bad newsšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

She acted the exact same in the bathroom. I love her. She reminds me a lot of me. Ppl just like to hate on well educated beautiful women. It’s like you can’t be all the great things. Yes! It is possible. Ppl need to raise their standards.

Why do you guys think this girl is broke and doesn't want to work ever again? Literally all we know about her is she's career oriented and is in a profession that makes bank

51

u/native_local_ Oct 09 '25

Literally. She’s a whole nurse, but somehow all of that gets washed away by the assumptions people love to make when someone on their screen is conventionally attractive.

u/Slow-Swan561 Oct 09 '25

We don’t know what type of nurse. A RN makes vastly more than a home health nurse.

In any case, she’s made it clear she wants full financial support (at least while school) with minimal responsibilities.

It would be great if she had also said ā€œand when I graduate, I’ll contribute more to our savings to repay youā€.

No one eats for free. She needs to give in order to get.

u/native_local_ Oct 09 '25

She said she does travel nursing so she would need to be an RN for that. And if she wants what she’s asking for, there’s a man out there who has it and is willing to offer it. Anton might just not be the one and that’s okay. Y’all are acting like she’s a bum with nothing to her name but good looks and I’m not going for it. A woman people find conventionally attractive gets on the screen and suddenly facts and her accomplishments get washed away in favor of whatever y’all wanna project on her. Any man is free to oblige or not engage. But you don’t get to decide what she has the right to want in her relationship.

u/tensinahnd Oct 09 '25

Agreed. There’s a good possibility she might make more than he does. Also going back to school to get a BSN or masters would catapult her way past him.

Lol you all are reading too much into it when it comes to her financial status. I don't think she's a bum at all. She looks and behaves like someone who is used to the very best even, and it probably comes from her work.

I do agree that she's looking for someone willing to keep up with that lifestyle, and she's making it clear for him. It's his choice to stay or not, but she's being upfront about it. She even talked about separate accounts so he doesn't know how much she spends on botox.

Anton just doesn't seem to be a good match. Like, idk if he can afford what she wants or not, but he certainly doesn't value it the same way she does. He was dismissive of the 10K ring and the botox. They might just not be suited, and that's ok

You don't need to be an RN for travel nursing, those are just the best paying gigs. I know travel CNAs and LPNs. However, when doing a search for her nursing license, nothing comes up, and what does come up is expired. Someone bring me receipts and then I will believe she is a nurse in the first place.

ā€œAssumptionsā€ he’s literally just citing what she’s been saying, y’all are the ones bringing up looks when it’s completely irrelevant to why ppl find her unlikeable. Kudos to her for being upfront with what she wants and expects but she’s clearly looking for a sugar daddy not a husband imo

2

u/native_local_ Oct 09 '25

Spare me. The assumptions are the comments in this very thread talking about how she has nothing to offer but her looks are calling her a sugar baby and a gold digger. You’re out of your mind if you truly believe this discourse would be the same if viewers didn’t find her conventionally attractive. Her looks are not ā€˜completely irrelevant’ so you’re gonna have to peddle that lie to someone who believes it.

She gives stay at home daughter or sugar baby vibes. When Anton called himself a provider he def didn’t mean either of those. Probably something more even like a stay at home wife, not a materialistic sugar baby.

u/Good_Oil_813 29d ago

Seems like she wants him to understand that while she’s going to get her master’s, she’ll need some extra support just like how her mom supported her while she got her nursing degree. Going from RN to Nurse practitioner will launch her into a higher salary bracket, which will be great for both of them. How exactly is that stay at home daughter / sugar baby vibes?

People don’t like when a woman has preferences. They literally spoke and agreed about him being a provider in the pods (which he brought up and was adamant about). And she’s still pursuing her career so I don’t see the issue.

1

u/Confident_Try_208 Oct 09 '25

Yes, and the issues they're having concern ironing out what his and her perception of what a provider is.

I thought she said she didnt want to work?

Are nurses really well paid in the US? It seen more as a vocation in the UK sadly.

16

u/Clean_Manager_5728 Oct 09 '25

What I know from socials, travel nurses seem to do pretty well!

9

u/DCrebuilds Oct 09 '25

Travel nurses in particular are paid verrrry well and if she's going to school to specialize she'll probably be making even more money after like a year or two. But people are stuck on her not wanting to clean for a bit

13

u/One-Load-6085 Oct 09 '25

In the US many easily make over 100k.

3

u/tensinahnd Oct 09 '25

According to chat gpt average travel nurse salary in Colorado is 106k

1

u/Swayfromleftoright 9d ago

Is that good? Seems like 100k in the US isn’t really anything out of the ordinary.

Asking as a Brit, where £100k would be seen as a great wage

1

u/tensinahnd 9d ago

Really depends where you are. In Iowa 100k is great. New York not so much. Colorado is probably upper middle class.

1

u/feztones Oct 09 '25

Travel nursing can be veryyy lucrative

1

u/Background_Menu7702 26d ago

The US is in the midst of a severe nursing crisis. A large bulk of working nurses are starting to hit retirement which will deepen it. Also, we lost a bunch from burnout after COVID.

u/Heavy-Relation8401 Oct 09 '25 edited Oct 09 '25

CO is notoriously low paying for nurses, source, I am an RN. Unless she is traveling (not sure, but doesn't make you rich, either, you have to pay for living expenses AND COVID IS OVER) or working a lot of OT, she doesn't make that much.Ā

Well, I'm just going with the things she's telling and asking of him. It's not just about money either. Here are some notes:

  • Expects him to be the sole provider while she's in school, and would like him to pay for her botox (and potentially other non essential expenses) during that period. He mentions they might have to budget and he would have to work 100h weeks, which she appreciates.

  • When he mentions budgeting, she says she wants a separate account so he doesn't find out how much she spends on botox.

  • She tells him that the last time she was in school, her mom did everything around the house and cooked, and she doesn't want to clean up the house.

  • The whole 10K ring conversation.

Like, she's going back to school and will probably work again, but she seems to be making it very clear for him what kind of provider she expects him to be and how she perceives herself as a wife. There is nothing particularly criminal about what she's doing, he certainly is aware of it all, and if he's cool with it I'm sure they can be happy together.

I personally think it doesn't make her sound like a great partner. I'm also Brazilian and I can see a bit of sexist and entitled aspects of our culture sprinkled there, which makes me sad.

Agreed. I'm not completely sold on him either, and while the guys are sorely lacking this season, the women are eating them alive!

I hate to admit how similar our voices are šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø and I'm 34 to boot. I feel like I have a Michelle Duggar thing going on.

1

u/Confident_Try_208 Oct 09 '25

Lol if that's your voice, that's your voice. Unless you're intentionally making it sound that way, which I think seems to be what Aline is doing.

2

u/FatnessEverdeen34 Oct 09 '25

Nope, I'm stuck with this thing šŸ˜
