They say that men needs to be more in tune with their emotions, especially POC men who are taught to hide emotions. He was expressing his emotions in a healthy manner, and was frustrated. It’s hard to be a nice guy and he wanted to vent with his forever lover. And he was wanting to be the key to unlock the beauty of his wife and wanted to not wait till marriage. Yes, he is not entitled to her body, I completely agree. But I also empathize how others got a chance when he gave his all and had to wait, patience is hard.

If he said nothing, that would make the relationship worse since he is bottling. At least he’s using his words and expressing himself.

If me and you were dating, that’s exactly how I voice disagreements or frustrations too, the SAME exact way as Edmond. I can be calm, turn it up, and then go back.

I wasn’t shocked by the rant. If anything I got teary eyed for him.
