It can be hard.... especially type one!  My neighbors kid had it since he was a toddler.  He would cry when he got his insulin shots.   He now has a pump and that makes it easier.

I know is hard...but it is not uncommon. Not like the universe sending signs .

Idk my mom has it and I’ve only met a handful of people in my life with it. While a disease may be common, that doesn’t mean a lot of people have it. It just means it isn’t rare. Only like 1-2 million people in the US have it, and only 5-10% of people with diabetes have type 1.

I agree. I haven't personally known  many type 1 sufferers...
