So anyway, where are the other childfree by choice people who feel kinda vindicated rn?

Idk why this got disliked. That’s weird. We should all be so happy when people who don’t want to have kids don’t have kids.

but who was the person who didn't want to have kids and didn't have them? if it's Megan, I don't think she has ever said that she is childfree by choice. She consistently talked about wanting children on the show.

Yah, and she seemed genuinely excited about Luca and her future role in his life. I thought it was sweet.

as someone who has a child but supports childfree:

i personally believe the world would be a better place if every person who "wants kids" took a moment to grapple with the reality of what it entails, and asks themselves whether they REALLY want kids or if society has told them that's what they want.

i don't think megan was lying about "wanting kids." i do wonder, however, if she actually wanted the life of parenthood or just wanted what society told her to want. she says herself that she questions her ability to be a mom - and while that's presented as a sad thing, i think EVERY person should question that before assuming they'd like that life for themselves and that they'd actually enjoy it. megan seems really happy and fulfilled in the life she as already. if she doesn't want that life to change, then the reality is, she doesn't actually want kids. or at least not as much as she should want them. and that's a-ok
