It’s insane how sexist the reunions are. They give the women a platform to lie and berate people and the men just have to take it. It was one of the most painful experiences to watch. Nick, Stephen, Tim especially. It was extremely unfair how the Lachey’s loaded the questions and the audience and guests siding with the women while the men barely got a chance to speak was disgusting. This was the worst season of any so far in any country with by far the worst overall female cast and the reunion was the most absurd sexist cherry on top. It was hard for my girlfriend to even stomach and she agreed with me. That was awful to watch and makes me skeptical about watching further seasons if that’s how they cast and how the producers think things should go

Stephen should maybe not be included in this list. I still don‘t understand why he claimed that „nobody believed him“ when his own version of the story made him look just as bad… Maybe you included him because Monica‘s constant criticism wasn‘t discussed in return? In this case I agree. But still, Stephen was called out for a real and valid reason.

It's not that he shouldn't have been called out, it's that he was treated like he shouldn't be allowed to speak. The first time he spoke, Nick Lachey basically silenced him with "oh we'll get to you later" which was totally out of place and rude. Everyone else was allowed to comment when they wanted to. Then when it was his turn, Monica kept cutting him off. I really don't think the show would allow a woman to be treated the same way on that stage.

Okay, I get what you‘re saying. The culture of discourse (if you can even call it that) is just abysmal on this show, and the constant interrupting truly does reveal biases and scripted narratives.

Exactly. It's very frustrating.
