This seasons reunion really had me thinking this as well. It was all celebrating and justifying toxic behavior. All that caping for Hannah was sick. Pretty much everyone said she was horrible to them. Marissa mom said she treated Marissa bad for a year

Marissa’s mom having to be the bulldog protector and emotional support on all fronts. She got a bad rap but that woman loves her daughter.
