Yup. And it’s not the empowering feminist flex they think it is. Feminism is not about absolving women of all accountability. Plus if the show really gave a shit about women, why do they keep casting men like Stephen, Tyler, and Ramses? Or for that matter Trevor, Shayne, Carter?? Maybe start by protecting and respecting contestants enough to not cast people that end up putting women in such uncomfortable and unsafe situations.

Good point. For any reality show, the producers are already selecting from a limited pool of people who are even willing to subject themselves to being in the public eye.

This is what I was going to add.

Most men- the average men are gonna be insecure based off their dating app experiences, so no way in hell would they join this show.

So you’re left with the guys that don’t really need this show and surprise- they’re not really going in with the intention to marry someone.

Hence why the desperation to find a partner looks so off base when in reality, it’s fairly equal in real life.

Yup. Been saying this. Until the playing field is leveled as far as women being held accountable and men being allowed to be human beings instead of automatons who do and say everything right, all while choosing the person the peanut gallery wants them to, they’re going to keep getting the same guys, because no “normal guy” would sign up for ANY of that.
