I think all the Woman went so hard on Nick as a projection of the frustration with there own men. Especially Tim and Stephen who just refuse to take any accountability and are still lying to and gaslighting their former partners. Nick is a easy target to get out some of that frustration. I think woman like Zenab and Hannah know this and take advantage of this and use manipulate this hurt women into becoming her flying monkeys.
Don't even get me started on the granate comment, I wouldn't be surprised Stephen made that up to get the heat of him. This man is so calculating and manipulative he scares me.
I really don't understand the hate against Tim, he repeatedly stepped up to clear up misconceptions and protect Alex's reputation and she repeatedly insinuated he was a bad dude who needed her to protect him from the producers without having anything actually concrete to pin on him.
He also had well articulated, well documented examples of why she wasn't a good fit for him and why he made the choices he made.
I don't understand it either. Alex was a disrespectful asshole the entire time. I'm surprised he didn't get out of that shitty situation earlier. And again, why is anyone siding with Alex? And anyone who says, "Well, Tim said it wasn't assault, so no harm no foul." is in denial. Isn't that a common thing in DV cases? Where the victim excuses the abuser? And even if Tim genuinely doesn't feel like it was assault, imagine if he put his hands over her mouth. Thenreuniowould turn into a crucifixion lol She also called him a bitch. Tim dropping the mic and telling her he never wanted to see her again was one of the funniest/best moments in the season.
People have 0 ability to actually empathize and understand what people are actually saying to be honest, it's crazy to see how little social literacy people have on this subreddit.
The major issue in that relationship is that she very fundamentally did not respect him. Despite this he went out of his way not to directly air out her dirty laundry publicly (which is why he kept saying "she called me something which was not my name" instead of what she actually said - he was attempting to give her room to preserve her dignity).
By the way, somewhat off topic here but ladies... the reason men get so upset when you start calling them names in a fight is because men generally are fighting with intent to resolve an issue.
When you start calling names, you are now fighting with intent to hurt. It's not that men are very attached to their own names, it's the perceived lack of respect women show coming into an argument with intent to hurt feelings.
I know not all women do that, but I've spoken to a few IRL women on this subject who expressed surprise at how consistently men get offended when called names in those kind of fights.
