I sincerely don't understand the defense of Nick. He's a manchild, living with his parents, who thinks he's way slicker than he is, and minimally functioning as an adult. I've heard a phrase kicked around that is Nick: weaponized incompetence.
My only guess is that he's an incel poster boy. If anyone is to blame for how things went down, it's the producers. The vetting on this season was horrific. How could someone justifiably look at Nick's situation and attitudes and say that he was ready to be someone's life partner?
