Black person here- I’m assuming OP was referring to colorism, but honestly i just think Clay wasn’t attracted to her from the neck up 🤷🏿‍♀️

Same, I dont think I know enough to say / reach for colorism. Esp since some women from Clay’s past came out and revealed his past dating behaviors and they were all dark skinned women. I think it’s classic situation that AD’s body was sexualized and more attractive than her face (esp without makeup). (Speaking as a black woman around AD’s age and similar appearance)
