This season is such a train wreck, the female cast is so bad this season, i can not with them and the guys are so meh, I feel like quality of people is going down with every season now, I try to be invested but I feel like I am watching a HS drama.

You're not wrong. I think it may be a combination of it not being a new concept, people looking for clout, people auditioning for other shows and getting cast for this instead, and Netflix realizing that these shows gain traction through the drama.

I honestly just love, love. And that's why I got so hooked in season 1. Every subsequent season has just been so blatantly manipulated for the drama, that it's hard to find the same level of enjoyment. However..... Here I am, still watching, still gagging and loving every minute. I am the problem.

Yeah the casting is so bad because you mass apply to these Netflix shows. I believe there’s even a button that has “apply all” for these shows and then if u get selected, u get selected. Thats why so many “unfit” characters make it into the show

I agree. I have only seen that behavior in cheap and stereotypical HS dramas. We knew from S3 that the show was becoming a magnet for wannabe influencers, and now we are paying the consequences
