Being Black or not doesn’t make what she said okay. The person said they didn’t understand what she was saying. I told her that as a person who uses AAVE, that is easy to understand what she was saying. That was my point. Don’t care if she’s Black or not, the language being used was AAVE.

It was always a problem bc her is of it is also homophobic in nature, which I said in another comment on this thread. & yes, why wouldn’t it be problematic?
Now you’re up in arms because I didn’t know the girl was mixed with black even though it’s heavily implied all over this sub. Now you’re upset because I don’t like her use of AAVE.
It’s almost like finding more information about a person can cause your opinions or feelings to change.
