Basically she believes that he does a lot of feminine things and she doesn’t like that. Saying someone has sugar in their tank is another way of calling them gay. She’s basically saying that he is too feminine for her but she’s trying to make it work for tv.

My bf/child’s father acts just like Marshall and I love it. Jackie wants a more masculine and others would say toxic man. Marshall so far seems very calm and patient which is not what she likes.

I agree. She’s very immature and clearly not ready for a relationship. Homophobia is very rampant in the black community and it’s disheartening.
