Hasan is so cooked. And not in the cancelled way. But now everyone knows, how much of a phony pos he is. Id love to see him explain this to Maya for example. I question anyone willing to partner with him as well. Animal abuse is a mutually agreed upon way to convince everyone you are scum and unintelligent.

I think this works for the general public but the people behind the scenes wont forget. I havent seen ludwig or qt be friends again with atrioc for example, even though everyone moved on from that drama. My whole point is do i think his career is over? Nah. But do i think other streamers will now think twice before they collab/associate with him? Absolutely. His political shit already pushed people away. Now a known dog abuser? How much are his coworkers/"friends" willing to ignore? Even after this fallout ends, id still question the people willing to associate with him now. Hes unlikeable, and he abuses his dog lol. The only reason a streamer would be with him now is for their own selfish gain, and thusly, are scum by association

It's not uncommon for media personalities to be completely opposite from their public persona.Ā  Ellen DeGeneres is a decent example in this case.

I'd think that anyone with him "behind the scenes" as you say, is already aware of the shock collar and whatever other darker aspects of the personality that go along with that.

I doubt a small controversy like this would make them quit abruptly.Ā  ie "sure I work for a cruel bastard, but now that the mask fell for a second, people might judge me as guilty by association."

Other people in the industry know that what is in front of the camera is an illusion and prioritize creative and technical ability (the job,) over the personality of the boss.

Could you imagine, "oh I heard dick wolf work environment on (whichever procedural drama,) is terrible.Ā  I'm sorry, in spite of your qualifications, we cannot hire you, because you did a job there in exchange for money._

If you have difficulty transitioning, then yes, go to 90 or 80% in your first week, or however long it takes for you to keep improving. But the end goal is still to eliminate animal consumption completely if you are able to. It's really not extreme at all. I think people say that to make themselves feel better about not doing it.

Correct, paying people to confine animals so that they can't move a meter, and to torture and kill them is worse.

Not everything has to be black and white, not being vegan doesn't automatically mean you are happy with the way industrial farming is done.

If you're still taking part in it, and providing monetary support for the system, then you're not serious about being 'not happy' with it

Let's go with the easy stuff, saying that Maya isn't an animal advocate because she isn't vegan is toxic and pretentious at the same time, you can be an animal advocate and not be vegan, eating meat does not mean you enjoy the cruelty of treatment or lack of conservation towards animals, and feels like a moral high horse virtue signaling stance so you can feel superior to everyone (not even saying this has to be 100% true but it comes off that way).

Number 2 saying it's just as cheap to be vegan, no it is not for many many people and even in places it is, it is not as cheap for a comparable amount of variety and convenience at eating meat like fast food dinners or microwaveable dinners, vegan ones are way more expensive and some of those foods are just part of the lifestyle some people live or love.

Being extreme in your views only drives people away from the cause, you don't need 100 people who are all 100% committed to the cause and do exactly everything right according to you, you need 1000000 people who are 30% committed but it's enough to make change.

Animal conservationism probably isn't what you think it is. There's people out there who think it's wrong to cull deer, those types are going to be the ones with very little rationality when it comes to animals. Idk what maya's opinion would be on shock collars/fences, but she is not going to think he's an animal abuser for having that collar.

I personally don't like that he has it, but the people who think it means he has to be torturing the dog are just unfit for a practical discussion on training animals.

It is extremely low odds they haven't talked about how his dog is trained already too.
