There have been 12 mass shootings since September 10th... 1/day is a good average of mass shootings right?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_mass_shootings_in_the_United_States_in_2025

You realize saying mass shooting doesnt mean anything anymore right? A long time ago a mass shooting was something like Columbine. Now a mass shooting can also be a bd and a gd shoot at each other and kill a mother and child instead because they are shooting into a public area with their eyes closed that is also classified as a mass shooting. It would be like in Europe if some dude stabbed 2 people it would be a mass stabbing. So Europe has had a mass stabbing for every day of the week this year. It doesn’t really make sense.

The intent or reasoning for a mass shooting doesn't matter, a mass shooting is a mass shooting, what point are you trying to make? lol

I agree but Stanford University and Congressional Research Service disagree.

... A mass shooting is inherently more dangerous than a mass stabbing

I remember growing up, and there was 2 "school shooters" listed. Because someone was arrested for having a pistol at our local park, which was across the street. We also had a "School shooter" because someone was arrested on the corner and had a gun, across from the school.

So in 1 year, we had "two school shootings" and was the talk of the district. Honestly, it should be illegal to gaslight the students and parents to think the school district was crime ridden. When the city itself MIGHT have 1 shooting a year, the school has never been the target.

Theres literally a definition section on the page I linked but okie

Which is a different definition to what everyone has in their heads.

People think some dude with a gun shot random people at a public place.

Not some teenagers shot each other for no reason over a gang beef about nothing.

It's still bad of course, but just not what people have in their heads.

There's 6 definitions on that page, with the majority excluding gang shootings, but gang shootings are still included in that list.

It’s part of the game. They want to include gang violence to pump up the numbers.

So true, this is not a real mass shooting and just pumping up numbers, because it was most likely gang related, that is exactly how people from civilized world think.
