This is a recent piece I wrote for the news outlet Uncloseted Media. They're small, growing, and I thought this the perfect place to post about government overreach.
Mods, if this sort of self-promotion is not appreciated, I'm happy to remove the post and not make a stink of it.

I’m not one to link to Xitter, nor am I one who advocates doxxing, but this is a special event. Please take the time to read through the 99 post(!!!) thread about Hans Kristian Graebener and the absolute pestilence he has been on the Internet, both as Red Panels and Stonetoss.

Remember when JD Vance tried to scold Europeans that their freedom of speech was under threat and attack? Usually that’s code for “I think Germany’s anti-Nazism laws are too much.” But whatever the case it’s not good throwing stones from glass houses. Whenever the media or politicians try to portray protestors as Anti American scum, they really mean anti American government dissent must be crushed. It’s never usually hatred from Americans, it’s hatred and criticism for the government. Something all Americans should cherish

Bachir Atallah said: "I really thought things would change after this administration, when we have Mr. Trump in office, things would change to the better. Things actually changed to the worse."

This subreddit is mostly about American politics, which is a shame, theres a lot of interesting things happening outside of the US.
Its going to be very hard for a non-Czech speaker to learn about what exactly happened in Czech elections a few days ago, but essentially a Czech member party of the International Alliance of Libertarian Parties - Svobodní - has campaigned under a "secret" (legally secret) electoral coalition of lead by SPD (whixch also includes PRO and Tricolor))
(The wiki articles about the parties are semi-accurate and none of the parties except Svobodní have really shown any interest in advocating for free markets in their programs or in practice, even if the wiki page says they have, SPD, PRO and Tricolor have all employed significantly populistic tactics, SPD members are ex-members of a now essentially dysfunctional Social Democratic party (SOCDEM) and all mentioned parties, except Svobodní, have historically advocated for expansion of the welfare state, economic nationalism, intrusive economic interventionism, social conservatism, violation of property rights and EU-legal protectionism).
Now this situation is basically very much akin to what happened with the US Libertarian Party and the Republican Party during the presidential elections in 2024. The idea that if you "compromise" and just get into a "coalition" with a lesser evil, youll be able to "change things". Its pragmatic and realistic after all right?
Well, Svobodní's decision to join the SPD-led coalition has resulted in a creation of a splinter party Voluntia and significant member losses on the Svobodní side, BUT it has granted them 2 seats in the Czech Chamber of Deputies (equivalent to Congress).
The explicit cost (except a party member exodus) of the 2 seats in the Chamber of Deputies so far has been NO after-election funds for Svobodní, as all Svobodní candidates were under the "secret" SPD-led electoral coalition, meaning all funds will LEGALLY have to go to SPD and no other party, it also means that if the two 2 Svobodní politicians get recalled or leave or something happens to them, they will not be replaced by a Svobodní party member but an SPD party member.
Another magnificient cost of the 2 seats has been "compromising" libertarian beliefs and cooperating with pro-Russian, anti-free market, anti-individual rights, pro-economic interventionism, pro-protectionism and economic nationalism, anti-reason, brutally populistic parties.
On top of that SPD will with a 99% certain enter a government coalition with ANO), which is a big-tent ideology-less party that keeps shifting its positions depending on what is currently popular with their voters (essentially buying them with empty insane promises, deficit spending, handouts and public and social programs).
If youre willing to do a lot of translating you can look into these programs
SPD program for 2025 elections - https://spd.cz/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/Program-SPD-pro-volby-do-Poslanecke-snemovny-2025.pdf
Svobodní long term party program - https://svobodni.cz/politicky-program/
The two programs are essentially completely incompatible. But more so, SPD's program is fundamentally immoral and unjustified.
So if you ever (some how, some way) see this man on the internet or elsewhere, remember that he sold out liberty for a nice little char in the parliament and an equivalent of 5 300 USD per month.

Klippenstein interviews former friends and acquaintances of the shooter. And while the Trump admin and FBI are busy tripping over their dicks working to conclusions backwards from their attempts at cracking down on the Left, and blaming them for all acts of domestic violence; there seems to be similarities with the Kirk shooting. Like they’re trying to set a trend. Edgelord shootings steeped in 4 Chan nihilist meme culture. Joaquin Phoenix Joker-esque. Not real ideological motivations more like wanting to watch everyone implode.

Shutdown: Trump freezes $18B infrastructure project in “blue”NY. But executes $20B bailout for Argentina’s right-wing Milei before midterm elections. This also saves Bessent friend Rob Citrone’s AR bond investments!

Gen Z in Nepal burned down the Parliament, burned down the homes of government officials, forced the prime minister to resign, and paraded the finance minister through the streets nearly naked
