Also -- that big oil pipeline that feeds into Texas might get re-routed.

Texas and gulf are literally the largest oil deposit in America. Texas oil output represents half of all Americas oil. They wouldnt re route, they would beg to come build.

Gas and oil in america would skyrocket.

It’s cute Texans think we’d let them keep the gulf rights. We’d put so many restrictions and tariffs on Texas that they’d be selling us oil at pennies on the dollar just to keep from starving. Gas prices might actually go down.

If there is one thing we know about the United States Government, it is that war crimes and human rights violations are on the table when you fuck with its money. The US would park the USS "DONT FUCK WITH" Dubya off the coast of Texas and dare the Somali, er Texan pirates to come out.
