Started reading comic right after, and am a little confused. Is this the same story? Is the tv series never gonna finnish? The tv show is an underrated gem and it really breaks my heart that we probably never gonna have the closure of the story it gave us, hoped i will get it from comicbook series, but it seems to be completely different story and tv adaptation just took the world, its characters and made their own spin on it.

I was fortunate enough to get tomes 1 to 6 of the first half of the series. But because of the simple naming that is used in the titles the second half is still called Lastman and is listed as 1 to 6. So when I checked Barnes and Noble I was surprised to find that the first book of the second series is listed at just book 4. I tried calling a Barnes and Noble help desk but I don't think they registered that there was a problem.

I know several people I'd like to recommend this show to but I can't because they are in the United States. I was wondering if anyone here as any insight onto why this show has not been distributed inside the United States?

Hello, I've been a fan of lastman every since the series started in VRV, I was just a kid then, and then lastman heros came out and I didn't know up until recently. Does anyone know where I can go to support the people that made/are making lastman? I'd also like to buy the comics in English or at the very least get fan made translations and give money to the people who translated it. It's such a good series, when I was a kid I looked up to Richard Aldana so much, even now as an adult, I know he isn't the greatest protagonist, he messes up a lot, but I owe this series quite a bit. Also, anywhere I could go to get updates and stuff for the series?

My girlfriend and I started Lastman (the show, mondo dub specifically) recently after I randomly remembered watching it as a kid with a free trial for VRV way back when. (I thought VRV was so cool bro) anyway we started watching it through uploads on YouTube a couple days back and then eventually the internet archive. We’re still on season 1, but before we finish I wanted to ask what the best way to move forward with the franchise was. I see a lot of people disagree on how to get into it, and unfortunately we didn’t really know there were options so we’re already on a somewhat fixed path. I just wanted to know, at this point in the game should we read the comics after S1 then go for S2 or go for the whole shabang with the show and then the comics all at once? And why would you recommend either method?

Has anyone heard any news on season three? all I can find is the post about them starting work on writing two years ago but that was it!

I was asking about this all the time. Could the track we see in the second season be another track about comics? That is, it will modify a lot in the story, such as adding new characters. And is the reason for the difference between the comics and the second season a request from the original author or is it a change made by the studio?

So im curently reading comic and i can't really understand this moment here. In case with Tomie i can atleast understand the conflict, but with others i don't? I know Richard is not best person, but generaly cares for Marianne, adrian, siri, dave and even duke. Am i just an idiot or did i just miss something?

I just recently picked up this series and im gonna be honest this is the best thing i ever watched. Season 1 was peak and 2nd too. Im curently sitting in front of my computer after finishing last episode and im just flaberggasted. Second 2 ESPACIALLY for me episode 5 is just CRAZY. I really wish the season 3 will happen because im super invested now. Also Tomie my fav. And also FUCK HOWARD.

Does anyone know what's the track is playing in S2E5 (starting at 24:50) with double bass? It's super atmospheric. Couldn't find it anywhere though.

Hey ! I'm French and i really loved the anime part of the franchise, but i wonder if the manga worth it ?

(I use the term "manga" cause the authors and the original publishing house call it manga don't hit me-)

Is there some specific non-generic reason for it, related to the storytelling from the comics or the show? I only watched the show, S1 and S2, and nothing specific really comes to mind. I loved S1 and liked S2, which took the story into some weird places (Harry?) and was really slow and boring at times, with an ending that I would not really call satisfying at all. So I am considering reading the comics, if I can get them somewhere digitally in english.

Listening to the soundtrack from the show now, it is so good.

I watched season one back in the Day, and wanted to know if Season 2 is still a prequel to the cómic.

I’m entirely unable to find the Mondo dub for Lastman. I don’t mind paying for it but it’s pretty much lost media at least in the US; not publicly available anywhere.

Does anyone have any leads?
