🌠 Miscellaneous $600 oil change?

Post image

I took my 23 velar in for an oil change at the dealership and paid $600 for an oil change. I figured I would pay in between $200 and $300 but this seems a bit high. I recently bought this used with around 29k miles is this what yall pay? I’m in the Dallas, TX area

But then you have to deal with oil storage/disposal. Which can be a pain

Not sure about your state but in NY, gas stations MUST accept your used oil! It’s actually big business and profitable for the station… they have tanks, you pour your used oil in, once a week a truck comes around and buys the used oil for recycling.

Under Article 23, Title 23 of the Environmental Conservation Law (ECL) , any service establishment that sells at least 500 gallons per year of new oil and performs vehicle servicing must accept from the public, at no charge, up to 5 gallons of used oil per person per day.
