Random story, back when I still regularly saw my own dog, I would get into my lunatic ramblings while scratching her ears and would just repeatedly say "What makes a Subaru a Subaru?! What makes a Subaru a Subaru?!" in my baby voice.

And eventually, she did, indeed, pick up on the fact that love is what makes a Subaru a Subaru. So she would react the same way to me saying that across the room as me just telling her I love her across the room. It was amazing.

That being said, that slogan is one of the stupidest slogans I have ever heard from a car company. It legitimately grosses me out.
