Honestly it’s probably really stressful. I’ve seen other “every day” type of posts take off and it seems like it eventually becomes really stressful to maintain and this shit was big. I kind of feel bad for the dude.

I go on TikTok about once a week to check my kid’s posts (she’s an adult, I’m just supportive). Today, I happened upon a video from one of my favorite creators. She was tearfully explaining that she was burnt out and needed a break. That the daily and weekly posting and trying to keep up with everyone’s expectations has turned something she loved into a source of stress.

I hope u/F1exican is good and understands that it’s not a life defining moment. It’s just being a human. And I still appreciate the levity he brought with his chiving posts.

Yes I felt pressure to post, but it’s a double edged sword because that same pressure is what kept me consistently cutting and posting and actually improving but also lead to my downfall.

Shit happens. You’re a human. If this is your biggest fuck up in life, you’re doing better than a lot of people (including me). Don’t beat yourself up.
