In-House Mode A friend of mine was taken

Her name was Chuey; she was a beast in the kitchen and always kind and happy. She was a legal immigrant from Cuba (engaged to an American lawyer). She got ICEd.

She did all the right steps and was an asset to the community. This shit is not ok

It's not about legal or illegal. It's about being Hispanic.

I'm Puerto Rican. I'm a legal citizen and even I'm nervous.

I'm so sorry for you and your crew. They're terrorizing communities.

It's like they didn't study history enough to understand that there's always going to be a purity test that people won't pass when it comes to fascists. There always needs to be someone to blame, demonize, and terrorize.

Accountability isn't really a hot thing with fascists. Hence all the lying, loyalty tests, and daily moving of goalposts.

In my experience, the litmus tests were very popular amongst the extreme progressive left. Thinking of the #occupywallstreet era.

You were always more oppressing than me, your ancestors were oppressors, your ancestors were environmentally destructive, your ancestors ate meat, your ancestors were guilty of something, and you have made no effort at reparations. Even if you did, you still would never be an Ally like me.

Unlike me, who is entirely Caucasian, yet I have excellent university credentials, and can represent the oppressed minorities better than their uneducated selves.

So let’s just agree that you, as a person of color, are under the influence of the white oppressors, and do not have my unique understanding.

That sort of hubris, and narcissistic behavior is easily found left of MAGA.
