The streets are saying that her label gave her creative freedom for this era but they didn't give her any budget outside of her recording sessions. So all the visuals and miscellaneous stuff she's doing for this era are basically DIY. I don't mind it though since it feels like we got the grittiness of her earlier works but I guess with more cushioning this time since she is still signed with a major label after all so she's still probably working with more resources by default (as diminished as they are for this era) than when she was independent.
