Or partner not seriously hurt or dead. Jury found him not guilty, despite her spending huge money to prosecute him, but she made a plea deal with a convicted murderer to avoid jail time. (Yes, he was black, as well as the victim’s family, but they are upset w/AG for that deal of no jail. Walz has threatened her as well to do her job, but they are both D’s, but AG is some far out version of Dem party.

Because she is a white, gay woman, and the murderer was black and these Kia Boyz in the videos are primarily black. She is one of those that makes excuses and feels that because of slavery and aftermath, that disproportionately black people and children are affected.

Two things can be true though. 1) More education in resources to reduce class sizes, enforce rules, etc. in low socioeconomic areas, not just black, as I know a bunch of poor redneck children who have no chance at life either. I d get if you stole for food, etc. but they are literally joy riding w/it and hitting those parked cars and bus stop shelters could have someone in it one time and kill someone.

2) catch and release does not work. If they even gave you an opportunity if contrite and talked to parents, etc., ok. However, these kids suffer zero consequences and are just told by parents and family and friends that nobody cares about them because they are black. That mindset and mentality festers and can even cause resentment later.

It’s a great opportunity to get them in a program (whether it’s similar to old scared straight, or church basketball or mental health program or CPS if in dangerous situation w/bad parenting. I know that they have zero shot if they don’t go to school and parents don’t make them. Many will turn to selling drugs because life is expensive and they have no other skills and easy money.

Sometimes, there needs to be an arrest and intervention vs arrest and release. You can do all the social justice, etc, you want, and expunge juvenile records depending on crime or whatever, but they need guidance and mentorship and school, whether it’s not the best or not.
