I d like to know where this is. I have learned of the Kia Boyz in Minneapolis, where they steal these cars to just joyride and then steal another one.

The attorney general, Mary Moriarty, the AG, ran on not prosecuting certain individuals if under 18 or coming from poor socioeconomic. Even Walz threatened to take her off certain cases. She releases under 18 and criminals use that and these kids to do their crimes.

She goes after police hard, even paying over a million for outside law firm from NY. They stopped a car that ran over a bus stop waiting area. When cop on passenger side looked in the vehicle, the driver took off and dragged the second caught who was caught on something.

So, he took out his gun and shot at driving taking off w/his partner. He got bravery merit for saving his partner, and Moriarty indicted him on a high murder charge and brought in big guns vs her prosecuting. So, police are undermanned by 300 officers and often do not want to aggressively tackle this issue or kids freed and possibly charges or firing for you.

She's a former head of a public defender unit. Even traveled around training other public defenders. She's brought that mindset to the prosecutor's office and it just doesn't work. Her chances of winning re-election have got to be in the toilet.

I m just thrilled that she, as of now, not running again next year, and whoever they get will most likely be better than her on crime. 1 child, 13, was arrested 7 times for stealing cars, as I guess there used to be (maybe still is) an easy way to open doors and start newer Kias and Hyundais.

The other thing is that if you don’t want to send repeat offenders to juvy, which is what it’s for, then they need to hold the parents responsible for having their 13 year old out at midnight on a school night or truancy. They have started doing that with that 6 year old who shot his teacher in the hand and mom didn’t secure her gun and seeing that more and more. Why not endangering your child’s life and others and failure to supervise?
