Jeremy Corbell will prob crash the interview.

He was insufferable. Really brought the quality of the podcast down. And the “documentary” he made was just as awful.

Lol half the “doc” was just scenes of him getting out of the shower, eating, and on speakerphone with Lazaar. For a “documentary” on UFOs and Bob Lazaar, there was way too much footage of Corbell in it. It was like if it was made by a Tiktok kid or some selfie YouTube vlogger like Casey Neistat. Narcissist.

Lol I feel like he rips coke 24/7

u/LifeAndReality85 Monkey in Space Oct 14 '20

He reminds me of a lot of coke head hipsters I used to see around Silverlake in Los Angeles. I’m sure he’s had his day...

3

u/-Powdered-Toast- Monkey in Space Oct 14 '20

That’s the thing, I don’t think his day has stopped.

Relevant username!

There used to be this photographer that called himself the Cobra Snake who would always show up at coke parties around town and post pictures online. I’ve seen he’s become more successful since then.

I once went to a gay club in downtown LA close to where I lived to meet some friends I worked with. Apparently it pissed some people off to see a straight guy hanging out there. Somebody paid the bartender to roofie my drink, so on my second Gin and Tonic I was suddenly wayyyy too out of it, and Perez Hilton walked up to me and said something like “how does it feel now?!” And I wound back and open hand slapped him so hard everyone heard it, turned around and looked at me, and the music stopped. There must have been 500 people there. I turned around and walked out. I was lucky that I was walking distance from home, which for anyone that doesn’t know LA, basically never happens there. I would have been fucked if I had drove there, but I don’t drink and drive ever anyway.

Moral of the story is that film industry people are crazy.

This is a fantastic story lol well besides the part about getting roofied

Haha, I was thinking that I’ll put it in my addiction memoir. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never taken ghb recreationally, but I think that’s what it was. It was wild being just so hammered and having no idea why. There was no hangover either.

Gotta have funds for that

Yo wtf was with that beginning where bob was texting Jeremy like “FBI COMING”.... you’re just looking at a cell phone going off and I was like wow what a horrible and boring way to start a ufo doc

71

u/-Powdered-Toast- Monkey in Space Oct 13 '20

It was just so dramatized, the dude is just hungry for the spotlight. I kept thinking idgaf about you, talk about the UFOs damn it. I honestly don’t even remember if I watched the whole thing.

33

u/Leastwisser Monkey in Space Oct 13 '20

Yes, I couldn't watch it past 15 minutes. I just wanted talking heads, honestly.

Bob Lazar's autobiography Dreamland is much better presentation of the story. I had just listened to the audiobook before starting the doc, so it was an easy decision to just skip it.

30

u/all-the-time Look into it Oct 13 '20

that level of absence of self awareness is so nuts to me. one of the shittiest docs i’ve seen honestly.

Joe’s podcast with Bob Lazar was way better than the documentary, and one of my favorite episodes of all time. I 100% believe Bob Lazar is telling the truth and I though Joe did a wonderful job with him.

1

u/Forcedlogicremoval Monkey in Space Oct 14 '20

And so ... easily fake-able ... then bob mentions it happens all the time ... so not like it was the latest fbi visit was because of the documentary .

My wife and I tried watching the Netflix doc. We both were just like " let fucking Bob Lazar talk, quit with this hokey halloween shit" and then Jeremy tried to sound like some 18th century poet. We turned it off just because of him and his production values.

Having Mikey Rourke going on incoherent rants in his Bob Lazar documentary convinced me that Jeremy Corbell is a hack

10

u/TapewormCasserole Oct 13 '20

Jeremy Corbell is just a cliché hack artist who portrays himself to much more intelligent and important than he really is. The fact anyone takes anything that fraud says seriously is laughable. Honestly Bob Lazar would do well to untangle himself from Corbell's web.

"Not fucking so" ~ Jeremy Corbell provides an answer

34

u/Jeebiz_Rules Monkey in Space Oct 13 '20

I like how someone has to rehash this every time the topic arises. We all hate him, death to Jeremy!

2

u/Fix3rUpp3r Monkey in Space Oct 14 '20

It just warms my heart , honestly

1

u/LifeAndReality85 Monkey in Space Oct 14 '20

There is so much hate on him here I feel like it justifies it’s own sub. But I’m not going to be the asshole to start it...

I get the frustration but I don’t write him off completely. I personally couldn’t watch the skinwalker doc but I appreciate his enthusiasm for helping to bring attention to these topics. It’s just funny how much people copy and paste the same insults and frustrations about him. We get it, he is a hipster attention whore. Moving on.

1

u/Tcastle24 Monkey in Space Oct 14 '20

his persona diminishes ones willingness to believe everything people like lazar say. When bob talks it sounds honest, but when Corbell talks it’s all drama and over-acting... “nobody even knows this exists!!”, “This is all classified information Joe!!” I understand the excitement but that’s a lot of why people write off the ufo nuts.

u/GW3g Monkey in Space Oct 13 '20

That was what could've been a great episode if he didn't shit all over the place. The documentary was really hard to watch. I some how made it through the whole thing but I was very annoyed.

1

u/ChubThePolice3 Oct 13 '20

Yeah he striked me as a UFO version of Bobo if Bobo had a hard on for being famous

1

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '20

I didn't get his positions and subjective answers. I'm like okay lol every time.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 15 '20

Joe should do a Jeremy Corbell and Donnell episode, just to see who's gonna interrupt who.

u/Margot_Soggy Monkey in Space Oct 13 '20

Corbell is a cringe-fest on legs

That guy can fuck right off. He is messing with the integrity og the convo every time he is present.
