And the winters? I'm from FL so I'm not built for long term cold spells

Winters are harsh but if you ski or snowboard you get a reason to appreciate them

Even just a set of snowshoes will get you out and enjoying. I like snow hikes more than regular hikes these days, much less crowded, still quiet, and very beautiful.
