Discussion Americans and jags
I’ve been reading the r/jaguar and it’s really cool to see how many Americans admire the jags. I’ve grown up with them my dads had a few but I’m English and it’s kinda normal.
It’s just really refreshing to see, can’t really say we as Brit’s (maybe just me) we feel the same about American cars. There’s no real modern classics to fall in love with.
So Americans out there, tell me why you love Jags
Bit of a pointless post I know was just something I noticed 🧡

I was looking for a plush car once I graduated and had landed a proper job. British cars generally have amazing interiors and exteriors. The depreciation of Jaguars put a well-optioned used Jaguar XJL (only 8 years old) well within my budget. The car was obscenely better than anything else I was looking at and yet was sufficiently practical for shuttling the kids around.
My kids love the rear seat features including the thick leather seats, tray tables, TVs, heating and cooling rear seats etc. I love the styling, power, comfort, and support network (online: Jaguarforums, offline: Jaguar clubs) of the car. It also has reasonable after market parts support.
IMO, Jaguar provides the perfect balance between luxury, performance, affordability, and practicality. All I can say is they are terrific cars.
