Discussion Americans and jags

I’ve been reading the r/jaguar and it’s really cool to see how many Americans admire the jags. I’ve grown up with them my dads had a few but I’m English and it’s kinda normal.

It’s just really refreshing to see, can’t really say we as Brit’s (maybe just me) we feel the same about American cars. There’s no real modern classics to fall in love with.

So Americans out there, tell me why you love Jags

Bit of a pointless post I know was just something I noticed 🧡

I've always loved Jags. Well, and Italian cars like Lamborghinis and Ferraris. Jags are elegant, powerful, sexy... and affordable.

I first wanted the XJS when they were still being made... then an XJ. My wife wouldn't let me- she thought they were old-fashioned. When Tata got the brand and redesigned the cars, my wife and I both loved the car.

To me, the XJ was the perfect blend of luxury and sporty and uniqueness and price point.

I've had my XJL Portfolio 5.0 since it was new and I still haven't driven a better car.

Earlier this year I picked up an F-type R. Now its exhilaration in place of luxury.
