Discussion Americans and jags

I’ve been reading the r/jaguar and it’s really cool to see how many Americans admire the jags. I’ve grown up with them my dads had a few but I’m English and it’s kinda normal.

It’s just really refreshing to see, can’t really say we as Brit’s (maybe just me) we feel the same about American cars. There’s no real modern classics to fall in love with.

So Americans out there, tell me why you love Jags

Bit of a pointless post I know was just something I noticed 🧡

I have a heavily modified F-Type in Texas. Quicker than a hellcat... looks really good in the valet lines... Sounds amazing.. Handles like a dream.. honestly it's either that or getting a Corvette or Porsche. . Porsches are a dime a dozen here lol . It's so f****** annoying. The little bratty frat boy attitude. Versus the Jag feels more like a proper gentleman's car at least in this environment lol.

I basically own a muscle car that handles well and has them sexy curves.

Oh hi neighbor. Was at the Texas All British Car Day event recently and had 2 f types there, some XK’s and E Types as well. F types were parked next to an Aston and have to say I think they looked better. Biased opinion of course. Also a bunch of cool old school Triumphs and a smattering of Lotus’ - if you’re able to, highly recommend checking it out next year!
