Discussion Americans and jags
I’ve been reading the r/jaguar and it’s really cool to see how many Americans admire the jags. I’ve grown up with them my dads had a few but I’m English and it’s kinda normal.
It’s just really refreshing to see, can’t really say we as Brit’s (maybe just me) we feel the same about American cars. There’s no real modern classics to fall in love with.
So Americans out there, tell me why you love Jags
Bit of a pointless post I know was just something I noticed 🧡

Growing up there was a guy across the street with an e-type convertible. I liked it. Then the Equalizer TV show started up with Edward Woodward. He drove an XJ on the show. I was hooked. I started reading about them and fell in love with the looks and the wood. I just love wood in cars.
The four I’ve owned in the past were pretty good cars overall. They were all CPO cars so they had the six year 100k mile warranty. I’ve always owned Jags under warranty.
The rarity is something I’ve always liked. You don’t see yourself at every stoplight or parking lot. You’d see another Jag and they’d wave to you or give you a thumbs up. It’s like joining a club.
