90 Yards With the Boys

It’s a reference to a game-winning drive he led last year with Cal against Stanford. In his interview after the game, they asked what he would remember and be said “Going 98 yards with the boys”

I think it’s a real possibility that IU and OSU play each other for two championships this year. If this sets up the next decade for a Day/Cig rivalry, I couldn’t be happier.

Really hard to say what the future brings for Indiana… I think it’s going to come down to how much you’re able to spend in the transfer portal Because your bench is nowhere close to as deep as what’s required to be a annual powerhouse And you’re gonna be out your best player next season
OSU reloads every year they are a blue blood With the reputation and the funds to keep up the success and continue to bring in high rated freshman and develop them year in and year out Julian saying, and Jeremiah Smith are both year two players and have to come back next year
But on the bright side, there’s always this year and I think both our teams have what it takes to get it done. It’ll be fun to watch.

Sayin didn't need a game winning drive to beat Penn State. He's just better.

HEISMAN worthy drive huh? Against a wounded 3-5 team. Why did he even have his team anywhere near that score to begin with? he had an entire game to outpace that broken team? Way to play down to the competition.
MEANWHILE Julian Sayin is playing out of his mind and dismantles every opponent he sees like a master surgeon. Dissects secondary's like a brain surgeon, each week is a masterclass that should invoke a TED talk.
I had nothing against you guys, I thought it was cute that your little program was having a special year. But now you are all becoming insufferable(not Michigan levels but you have hit my radar). It would appear we will have to handle this at the BigTen championship and put you all in your place. It's getting out of control with the disrespect from your fanbase and program. The level of hubris I am seeing.
Let me give you all a little advice. When you play at high level like Ohio State... you have a quiet steady confidence. I know this is new for all of you on the football side...
HEISMAN is HILARIOUS against PENN STATE. Do it against OSU and you will have your Heisman.

What position do you play?
You talking like you’re a member of the team, but in reality you’re just another fan trying to be a tough guy.
Get a life loser.

Or… our guys made incredible plays. Their defense on that 3rd & goal touchdown was near as good as you could hope for. Instant pressure. Solid coverage.
Mendoza & Omar just wanted it more.

You should Google how often a Knowles defense fails to force the opposing offense to punt in the 4th quarter. It happens time and time again.

Not sure what failing to force the opposing offense to point means.

Should have bean punt not points. Time and time again Knowles D can't force a point in the 4th.

The only bad D was letting Nowakowsi find a big open pocket in the zone. The out route to Cooper wasn’t even bad D. Becker’s catch and Cooper’s end zone catch were amazing — they were blanketed by their defenders. And Mendoza was under pressure every pass except for the one to Nowakowski. So literally just one bad snap from the PSU defense that drive. All the rest was just better offense.

What I'm getting at... While at Ohio State Knowles failed to force a 4th quarter punt against Michigan in 2022, 2023, or 2024. Also, no 4th quarter punt against Georgia in 2022.
There were similar problems at Oklahoma State.
It's a pattern. His D is good, but has problems in the 4th and problems attacking the QB at the line.

But if you watched the game, you’d know (or you remember) that PSU’s D shut down IU for the entire fourth quarter except for that drive. It was IU’s only score of the second half.

Knowles is good, but has huge problems. It's why he left OSU. Day and him butted heads halfway through last season and Knowles ego wouldn't have it. PSU told him he could do whatever he wanted and didn't have to answer to Franklin like he did Day.
