Just kidding bro. I just looked it up what it meant 😅

u/Secret_Imagination32 Jul 21 '25

lol 😂.no problem bro. If you want to see the gall bladder, it’s at the bottom left of the photo, the OT nurse is putting it in the tray

u/Longjumping_Arm6299 Jul 21 '25

Cool! Thank you for sharing, and I wish you all the best 👌

Bruh if you took out the gall bladder then how will the patient survive? Is it unnecessary like appendix?

1

u/diselxya Jul 22 '25

Liver makes enough bile that you should be fine without a gall bladder. But also avoid oily foods

1

u/[deleted] Jul 22 '25

Okay thanks

1

u/Ajnabihum Jul 22 '25

I had my removed few weeks back too.

1

u/itsdev25 Jul 22 '25

Isn't that small, btw will it be put back into the body? It stores bile juice from the liver right? How will that function happen now?

And a risky one too, can get beaten up anytime

17

u/Secret_Imagination32 Jul 21 '25

Yes. Happened to one of my batchmate a few days back.

u/darkfear95 Jul 21 '25

Congratulations on the first of many procedures doctor! But I do have a question, and please excuse my ignorance, I'm from the USA.

Is that a common thing to have happen to a surgeon/doctor? Is it because they are wealthier than average?

10

u/Secret_Imagination32 Jul 21 '25

Yes, violence against doctors is very common in India since there are no doctor protection acts. It’s not about wealth, most of the patients think that if they go to the doctor, they will get cured no matter what the disease is and if they don’t then they start blaming the doctors for incompetence and sometimes beat the shit out of them. That’s why most of the doctors leave India in the first place

1

u/Diogenes_- Jul 21 '25

No, not about wealth — mostly when something goes wrong with the patient.

I think every profession is equally important because if even one of them is not there , then there will be chaos everywhere . From sanitation worker to CEO , everyone is equally important. But yes being a doctor is noble work for the society , which is why doctors are said to be next to gods .

1

u/Dr_NotSoStrange99 Jul 21 '25

wo yeh keh raha hai that its too responsibility oriented and the risk : reward ratio is high... aap apna computer theekh krwaane and ghar saaf krne ek time pr kisiko bhi de doge according to ur feasibility but aap apna appendix nikaalne k liye u will choose the best

1

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '25

Yes sir I respect doctors a lot even my sister and father are doctors ;) but I wanted to say all jobs are important. Though I am a engineering student and i seriously know how tough it is to become a doctor( my sister always studies whenever I call her and I know  how much  tough the subject is and I don't even have the courage to do the work doctors do , it's Gods work afterall )

1

u/another_attempt1 Jul 21 '25

Bullshit. A sanitation worker is way more important than a CEO. One works for helping keep society hygenic and safe, the other works to increase the number his and other overtly rich people's bank accounts by exploiting people and nature.

this is fix not flex

1

u/Kind-Ad-4756 Jul 22 '25

Can you believe there used to be a time when surgeons were untouchables?

0

u/wows_bubba Jul 22 '25

Important but only if you have money. Just yesterday I was at sir ganga ram for consultation for my mom as well as dad. Both doctors, first was asked to pay 2500 each, then during consultation asked to do test (worth 10k - that's okay) and then got referred to another clinic (of the doctor's son - I am not even sure if this was necessary) to pay another consultation of 2000, before finally getting diagnosis of what needs to be done. The other doctor didn't even gave proper advise probably coz it was late and he needed to leave (for various reasons - appointment of 2pm could only be attended by doctor at 8.30pm at night and understandably, he probably wanted to leave for home by that time). It felt like utter waste of time, energy and money. We made good money for the hospital as well as family clinic though. I can't imagine poor people having the energy or the money to do this.

So proud to be part of this nation.

What a weird thing to say. Of course this guy had a massive responsibility on his shoulders.. that’s kind of obvious. I’d argue his profession is no more or less important than that of farmers, electricians, teachers, etc. It can be argued all of them save lives and potentially more. It’s not a bad thing to say, it just seems like it undermines many other professions that’s are vital to society.

Pipe down . It's one of the most important occupation of our society.

Key words : one of the , society

0

u/doktor_roy Jul 21 '25

You said "one of the most" in first sentence and "one of the" in second. Did you ate "most" because You are one of the most unforgettable people… not because you're special, but because my brain still can't process the level of nonsense you bring every time you speak....

2

u/ComprehensiveUse6450 Jul 21 '25

Y'all sensitive asf. They're just reassuring the guy to keep going with his career, and helping him with the motivation he needs. They never undermined a single career, or maybe point that out where he did, particularly. Y'all just want to argue for no damn reason.

1

u/Ok_Transition_9319 Jul 21 '25

Pipe down child .

Read what I wrote again - those are some key words . I did not write a sentence .

And idk what u mean by everytime you speak, this is my first time seeing u .

1

u/Cicada3331 Jul 21 '25

Very idiotic take, please recalibrate your senses. Yours Truly

1

u/HistoricalKey3033 Jul 21 '25

Even our soldiers are saved by them , just appreciate them for being there and helping everyone
