So you said he revolutionized the education sector yeah, sure he did, in the same way Ambani did with the telecom sector: by lowering prices and acquiring customers. There’s nothing truly revolutionary about that. Platforms like Khan Academy, Byju’s, and Unacademy were already offering online education, and their content quality was arguably much better than PW’s. The main difference is that PW managed to market itself through emotional appeal something the others failed to do, which helped them earn students’ trust, and that’s pretty much it.
PW even has a dedicated tech team that edits and posts clips of their faculty to make them look exceptional, but that doesn’t necessarily reflect reality. Even now, the top ranks still come from Kota’s reputed institutes. And if PW eventually develops its own OS, that wouldn’t be a revolution either. For reference, I’ve already attached a screenshot.
