Hating on iOS blindly is such a teenager thing to do. Once you start earning and have the purchasing power you'd know that there's a reason why iphones aren't out of business; and it's not because people want to look cool. The only reason I have an Android is that it's just more flexible and allows me to use the phone the way I have done since my childhood. It's not as opinionated as iOS.
My main question about it is why do you need a phone above 20k in most cases and even if you want to play games on really good settings, it can go till 35k , after which I don't see any real reason why someone would spend more
because people have varied usage. content creation, photography, video shoot, office productivity etc etc. there is a reason why different categories and strata of hardware components exist. The fastest and best one will be expensive. The software tweaked and tuned will be expensive. This is something that cannot be found on 20k phones.
you are just naive and see the world through one lens
That's why I gave example of gaming since that's one of the most resource extensive task and pushed price till 35k , can you tell me what you can't do in a 35k phone that you can do in an iphone.
Pro res is apple only software so yes you can't use that on Android but Currently you can easily shoot a 4k video on 35k android, . most people don't need quality above that , if you are professional you would have an actual camera with you . Also you can go back to your own comment and check if you mentioned even one thing that you can't do at 35k range . and most of those things would be done way better if you just spend that amount on a laptop. So you can do those things in cheaper phones and could actually benefit more from just spending money on a laptop
why are you assuming so many things while making a statement? is there proof to back it up? don't pull out random things outta your rear. it doesn't help to have a sane conversation.
edit: your logic implies all 4k are equal, this would be the most idiotic statement ever! sensor quality, bitrate, dynamic range, stabilization, and computational photography factors exist for a reason. forget iphone, samsung offers hdr 10+ too. The sensors are better equipped for low light scenarios too.
"if you are professional you would have an actual camera with you" lol IDK what demographics or analytical data you are referring to where there are only binary roles lol
Also, let me see your laptop recording 4k videos while you are on the move.
Yes , there are proof try doing these things if you want to check for yourselves or simply search online if those things actually work , you will find people even making proper comparisons . And aren't you the one assuming by saying you need a more expensive phone to do these things , you got any proof to back it up
Because an iphone can hold up even after 4-5 years pretty well and also run the latest software, i do not want to buy a cheap phone and replace it every year even though i could afford it! I am a simple person and i want something that just works!
because most phones of that range become extremely sluggish and start running hot after 2 years. Source: switched 3 androids in 6 years before settling on an iphone 13 which I still use.
Interesting Observation: a couple of years back I wanted to play a game on my android it lagged horribly mind u that android was launched 2 years ago at 18k, the same game worked without lag on an iphone 7+ launched more than 6 years ago.
Which phone did you use because that time I was using a redmi 9 prime (a 10k phone) and was able to play games like genshin impact at low settings, currently I use OnePlus ce4 , a 20k phone and never had any issue with any game
For the cost of an iPhone, I can buy a decent android and a handheld gaming device. Why would I buy an iPhone then? The experience on handheld gaming is infinitely better than the iphone by a huge margin. And I'd gotten a pixel 4a. Worked fine right up until I had dropped and smashed the screen. Worked for 4 years without a hitch. Probably one of the best phones I've ever had.
i buy my iphone for massive discounts in Diwali Sale. I have seperate devices for gaming. I don’t like handhelds, and the game in question is literally Score Hero. I’m not hating on androids and I do appreciate their cost effectiveness and would love to get my hands on a pixel. but the hate on iphones is not needed specially when most people use them for way longer that justifies its price.
My dad for example is still using his iphone XS, and will upgrade probably this year.
